I became a photographer because of my own kids. Once you have children, you feel that pull where you want to hold onto everything, but it moves so fast. I picked up a camera to try to slow it down, and somewhere along the way I realized I could do the same for other families.
Today I shoot family portraits, maternity sessions, and corporate events across Princeton, Monroe, and central New Jersey. I work with a mix of guided posing and real candid moments with enough direction to make the photos look great, enough breathing room for the kids to be kids and the dads to stop bracing for impact.
The goal isn't a photo of your family. It's photos that actually feel like your family.
Meet Amardeep
I'm the photographer behind High Degree Media, based in Monroe Township, NJ and working throughout central New Jersey. I shoot family portraits, maternity sessions, engagements, headshots, and corporate events. Most of my clients care about how the photos turn out, but they care just as much about not dreading the hour it takes to get them.
What Drives the Work
The best photos aren't staged, they're caught. Whether it's a family in a park or a corporate event in a hotel ballroom, the job is the same: pay attention long enough that I'm still looking when something real happens.
How Sessions Run
Families tell me their kids forgot they were being photographed. Corporate clients tell me I was easier to work with than they expected. Both of those are the goal.
